Canada Post is giving away $20,000 in prizes to Canadian small businesses.

Whether your business is just starting, evolving to meet the needs of today or finding innovative ways to support communities, Canada Post wants to hear your story!

Small businesses are changing the face of Canada, and Canada Post is finding new ways to help put them in the spotlight and celebrate their successes. To better feature these important small businesses, Canada Post has announced the third annual Tales of Triumph contest.

The Tales of Triumph Contest is entering its third year and continues to evolve. This year, in addition to the three grand prize category winners, there will also be Canada’s Choice and Canada Post Employee’s Choice winners, selected by vote over July.

In total, 15 small businesses will be selected as finalists, 2 as prize winners and 3 as grand prize winners.

By sharing your story, you could win up to $20,000 in prizes to help your business write its next chapter. Prizes include shipping and marketing services, exposure on our website, social channels and more, paid advertising with national exposure and coaching from an expert on our panel of judges.

You can apply to one of three categories:

• Doing Good: recognizing businesses who know that doing good is good for business. These businesses pride themselves on supporting others, making communities stronger and investing in a better Canada.
• Marketing Magic: businesses that are investing in marketing to strengthen and support their business’ growth now, and into the future. Be it a first campaign, a new focus on social or their business going viral, they are growing their voice, awareness and presence.
• Rising Stars: Recognizing businesses that have launched over the past two years and have gone from 0 to 100 in the blink of an eye – be it an online business, a bricks and mortar location, or anything in between.

For any of the three categories, entrants will be asked to respond to a set of questions in either written or video format. Each category will have five finalists. There will be one grand prize winner per category. You could win prizes up to $20,000, including credits for Canada Post Parcel and Smartmail MarketingTM services, marketing support for your business and national exposure.
